You’re in the right place

You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin

There often comes a point where life starts to feel a little different. Not wrong, not broken… just unfamiliar in a way that’s hard to fully explain.

You might have spent years looking after everyone else, holding things together, doing what needed to be done, and being who others needed you to be. And then, almost without warning, things begin to shift. Life quietens down a little, or changes direction, and you’re left with a sense that something isn’t quite the same anymore.

Not because you’ve done anything wrong, but because you’ve outgrown the version of life you were living.

This is a space to pause, to take a breath, and to begin gently reconnecting with yourself again. You don’t need to have a clear plan or all the answers — you just need somewhere to begin.

Come sit for a minute.

A little about me

I know this feeling, because I’ve lived it too — not all at once, and not always in obvious ways, but in those quieter moments where something just doesn’t feel quite the same anymore.

Life changes, roles shift, and the things that once filled your days — and your sense of purpose — can slowly move or fall away. When that happens, it can leave you wondering where you fit now, or who you are underneath it all.

I’ve always been someone who looks a little deeper, someone who wants to understand people properly — not just on the surface, but in a way that feels thoughtful, calm and without judgement. That natural curiosity led me into psychology and coaching, but it’s also something that has been shaped by my own experiences over time.

Like many women, I’ve navigated different stages of life while also living with things that don’t always make it easy — ADHD, chronic illness, and the ongoing shifts that come with menopause. I’ve experienced the changes that happen when children grow up and life looks different again, and I understand how disorienting that can feel, even when it’s expected.

None of that makes me someone who has all the answers, and I would never suggest that there’s a simple way through these things. But it does mean I sit with a deeper level of understanding, and I bring that into the way I work — gently, honestly, and without expectation.

This space might be for you if…

You might find yourself here because something has shifted, even if you can’t quite put it into words yet. There may be a sense that life feels different now, and you’re not entirely sure what comes next or where you fit within it.

Perhaps you’ve spent years focusing on others — your family, your work, the people around you — and you’re beginning to realise that you’ve lost sight of yourself somewhere along the way. Or maybe you’ve reached a point where things have slowed down or changed, and instead of clarity, you’re left with questions.

You might have ideas or quiet thoughts about what could come next, a feeling that there could be something more, but you’re unsure where to begin or how to move forward without it feeling overwhelming.

This isn’t about being “fixed” or having everything neatly worked out. It’s about having space to think, to talk, and to explore things at your own pace, in a way that feels manageable and right for you.

And sometimes, it’s simply about acknowledging that something feels different, and allowing yourself the time and space to understand what that means.

What this might feel like

Working together isn’t about being told what to do, or feeling like you need to have everything figured out before you arrive. It’s about having space — real, uninterrupted space — to slow things down and begin to hear yourself again.

I bring both training and lived experience into the way I work. My background in psychology and coaching means I understand how our thoughts, behaviours and emotions connect, but just as importantly, I understand what it feels like when life is complicated, messy, or quietly overwhelming.

Living with ADHD, chronic illness, and the changes that come with menopause has shaped how I see things, and how I sit with others. It’s not about comparison or saying “I’ve been through it so I understand everything” — it’s about recognising that life isn’t always straightforward, and that support needs to meet you where you are, not where you feel you should be.

In our sessions, I’ll ask thoughtful questions, gently guide the conversation, and reflect things back to you in a way that helps you see things more clearly. There’s no pressure to have the “right” answers, and no expectation to move faster than feels comfortable.

We go at your pace, and we work with whatever you bring, exactly as it is.

Sometimes that means untangling thoughts that have been sitting quietly in the background for years. Sometimes it’s about reconnecting with parts of yourself that have been pushed aside. And sometimes, it’s simply about having someone sit with you while you figure things out.

If this feels like the right space for you

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out, and you don’t need to arrive with a clear plan or the “right” words. Often, people come with a feeling more than anything else — a sense that something needs to shift, even if they can’t quite explain it yet.

If something in what you’ve read has resonated with you, even in a quiet or uncertain way, that’s enough. We can start from there. There’s space for you to ask questions, to talk things through, or simply to begin a conversation and see how it feels.

We can take things one step at a time, at a pace that feels comfortable for you, without any pressure or expectation. And if now isn’t the right time, that’s completely okay too — sometimes just knowing this space exists is enough for now.

This will still be here when you’re ready.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me:

• Running my aircooled Volkswagen business
• Organising the Field of Dreams Aircooled VW Show in York
• Studying psychology
• Spending time with my family and my grandsons
• Or out walking my dog Toby

I believe life is full of different chapters, and every stage has something valuable to offer.

Sometimes all we need is the space to pause, reflect, and decide what we want to create next.

An Invitation

If you’re navigating a life transition and feeling ready to explore what comes next, I’d love to have a conversation with you.

Sometimes the most powerful step forward begins with simply talking things through.

Let’s have a conversation.
